School Challenge For Teachers

For over ten years, the HealthPartners PowerUp School Challenge has been supporting elementary schools across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin to encourage thousands of students to get curious and excited to try for 5 fruits and veggies and move their bodies in fun, new ways! The School Challenge focuses on eating better, moving more, and feeling good and the connection between them.

While anyone can utilize these tools and resources in their classrooms, limited print materials and incentives are only available for qualifying Minnesota and Wisconsin schools. If you would like more information on getting started, please email us at info@powerup4kids.org.

Why Participate in the School Challenge?

By participating, school and teachers:

      • Choose when, where and how to implement the Challenge
      • Support and encourage students to eat better, move more and feel good
      • Receive fun and engaging PowerUp resources to share with students and families
      • Are guided through the Challenge with weekly program communications
      • Prioritize student wellness and do what's best for kids!

Here's How it Works!

CHOOSE the month that works best

Looking at the 2021-2022 program calendar, choose the month you’d like to take on the Challenge this school year. Some schools like to have all classrooms doing the Challenge during the same month. If that's the case for your school, a school leader will let you know what month to sign-up for. Otherwise, you have the flexibility to choose the month for your classroom to participate.

SIGN-UP to participate
After picking a month to participate, sign-up using the button below. You'll receive program materials and communications for the month you choose.
