Red and White Sandwich

This quick breakfast, lunch or snack is a fruity twist on a traditional PB & J. For a complete meal, add veggie sticks and a glass of milk.

Red and White Sandwich

  • 1 Tablespoon low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
  • 2 slices very thin whole-wheat sandwich bread
  • 2-3 large strawberries, sliced 

Serves: 1 

  1. Mix cream cheese, honey, and orange zest in a bowl.
  2. Spread bread with the cheese mixture and top with sliced strawberries.
  3. Cover with second piece of bread.
