The PowerUp Candy Trade-In went spooktacular!

The PowerUp Candy Trade-In was back and better than ever this year! PowerUp along with Amery Hopsital & Clinic, HealthPartners White Bear Lake Clinic, Hudson Hospital & Clinic, Stillwater Medical Group and Westfields Hospital & Clinic invited children to trade in their candy for cool, fun prizes! They also had the opportunity to write Thank-You's to soldiers in the military.
PowerUp also partnered with HealthPartners Dental Clinics who gave out fruit and veggie vouchers for traded-in candy through the end of Halloween week. They sent toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss along with the candy.
The total amount of collected candy was over 750 lbs and donated to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit that makes care packages delivered to active duty military overseas. Some of the candy was also donated to the Stillwater Armory.
