Larry Forrest Memorial Park

Larry Forrest Park is located on Forrest Drive, just off of Sunrise Drive. It consists of a picnic shelter, playground for 5-12 year olds, three ball fields, three basketball courts, restrooms, and a concession stand.
Village Park

Village Park is located on River St, with access from both Main St and Spring St. It has two ball fields, a concession stand, sand volleyball court, a large picnic area along the Apple River, pedestrian bridge and walking path across the river. Village Park is the location for Somerset's annual celebration Pea Soup Days!
Veterans Memorial Park

Vet's Park is Located on the corner of Hud St and Parnell St. It consists of 2 picnic shelters, two playgrounds for 2-5 and 5-12 year olds respectively, restrooms, basketball court, and 2 tennis courts.
Montag-Calleja Memorial Park

Montag-Calleja Park is located in the Acorn Acres development at the end of Willow St and Acorn St with a walking path access from main St. The park has a playground for ages 5-12, benches, and a picnic table.
Whispering Pines North Park

Whispering Pines North Park is located on Marlon’s Court just off of Harriman Dr in the Whispering Pines North Development. It consists of a playground for 5-12 year olds, a basketball court, benches, and walking trails.
Meadows Park

Meadows Park is located off of Somerset Lane, in the Somerset Meadows Development. It has two playgrounds designed for 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds. More amenities to come in the future!
Joe Casey Park

Joe Casey Park is located in the River Hills Development on Aspen St. It contains a playground for 2-5 year olds, and a walking trail from Aspen St to Rivard St. More amenities to come in the future!
La Grandeur Natural Area

La Grandeur Natural Area is 26 acres of village-owned land in the Industrial Park surrounding the new water tower. The land is heavily wooded with a pond, extensive wildlife, and a 10-hole disc golf course with trails. Future plans for this area include additional disc golf holes and walking trails that will link this area with the River Hills trails!
Parnell Prairie Preserve

Parnell Prairie Preserve was opened in 2010 as a cooperative park with the Village and Township of Somerset. The preserve is located in Somerset Township and its amenities include mowed hiking paths through a restored prairie.

Somerset Landing

This boat landing provides access to the St. Croix River, bathrooms, picnic tables and a grill. Walk down a short trail to get to sand bar swimming areas!
Pine Lake Boat Landing

Although public swimming is not advised at this site, the boat landing provides a public boat access and fishing location for Pine Lake!
Turtle Lake Boat Landing

This boat launch provides access to the 52 acre Turtle Lake. Use caution, however: its muddy shore bank can be slippery and steep.
Twin Springs Park

The Town has developed this park and parking area in cooperation with the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway that allows public boat access to the St. Croix River.
Bass Lake Boat Launch

The site provides paved access to Bass Lake with two boat launches, two courtesy docks, signage, and a paved parking lot with 17 stalls, including one ADA accessible stall. Great for fishing and boating, but its muddy shore is not ideal for swimming.
Troy Beach

This seven-acre day-use park includes a swimming beach on the St. Croix River, sandy area with picnic tables and barbecue grills, changing house, pit toilets and horseshoe pits. The park is staffed, but no lifeguards are on duty. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Parking is available. No pets allowed.
Wildwood Trail
The Wildwood Trail is a seven-mile off-road hiking, biking and snowmobiling trail on a former railroad running from the Village of Woodville south to the St. Croix/Pierce County line, through the Town of Eau Galle.
Andersen Scout Camp (Private)

Glen Hills County Park

Glen Hills Park is a water-based recreation facility located in the hill country of West Central Wisconsin. This park consists of 700 wooded acres surrounding the beautiful 78-acre Glen Lake. Camping season runs from May 1 through October 31. Although the campground closes on October 31 each year, the day-use area remains open to winter enthusiasts. Winter activities include ice fishing and skating on Glen Lake, snowmobiling, sledding and cross country skiing. Also, adjacent to the campground is the Glen Hills Golf Club. Open to the public, this scenic 9-hole golf course features a golf pro shop, driving range, practice green and restaurant with bar.

The parks department maintains eleven ball fields within the Village of Somerset located at Larry Forrest Park, Village Park, Christ Lutheran Church, St. Anne's Church, and the Somerset School Campus for the area youth and varsity sports.

The Village currently leases the land directly behind St. Anne's school for the area youth sports leagues. The school is located at 140 Church Hill Rd and consists of four ball fields, two large soccer fields and three smaller soccer fields.

The ball field is also located directly across the street from Veterans Memorial Park, which offers restrooms, tennis courts, basketball court and playgrounds for 2 - 12 year olds.

Kayak Races ButterCup Whitewater Slalom Series
A citizen level series of 5 races, the Buttercup Whitewater Slalom Series draws competitors from across the United States as well as a number of overseas countries. All levels of skill are accommodated for in the races and people new to whitewater competition are encouraged to participate.
Bristol Ridge Golf Course
