Asian Slaw Dressing

Ingredients
  • ¼  cup olive or canola oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos  - a soy-free, gluten-free alternative)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ cup lime juice, squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder (optional)
 


Instructions
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on a clean counter.

  1. Wash your hands.
  2. Squeeze the juice from lime.
  3. Mince the ginger and garlic.
  4. Measure all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk, whisk, whisk!
  5. Pour it over your Try for 5 Slaw and give it a toss, or use this dressing on one of your other favorite salads.
