Whole grain pita stuffed with beans (black beans or refried) shredded carrots, greens, cheese + avocado slices (or guacamole) and fresh salsa + strawberries 
     
 



Cottage cheese + colorful sweet peppers & pea pods + whole grain crackers (like Triscuits) + pineapple chunks
     
 


Whole grain crackers (like Triscuits) + hummus + veggies (cucumber rounds, carrot sticks) + watermelon slices

     
 




Sandwich on a stick:
  cut outs of whole wheat bread or bagel, roasted chicken (left overs work great), cheese (cubes), spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes + cucumber rounds + peach or nectarine

     
 




Choo-Choo! Train on a track:
build it with nut* butter and jelly sandwich rectangles + carrot and celery sticks (for the tracks) + blueberries
*If your child has an allergy to peanuts or tree nuts, try sunflower seed butter
     
 




Cheese  and Greens Sandwich Flowers*
(made with spinach leaves, natural cheese slice , cucumber round on whole grain bread) + colorful sweet peppers & pea pods + watermelon wedge + apple sauce
we used a flower cut out for this sandwich, but any cut out will do.
